Four-star wide receiver Jordan Whittington includes Texas in top four

Posted July 12th, 2017

The state of Texas is loaded with offensive playmakers in the 2019 class and no player in the state might be more explosive than Cuero athlete Jordan Whittington. The four-star prospect is one of four wide receivers in the 2019 with a Texas offer. He included Texas in his top four along with Florida, Texas A&M and UCLA.

Whittington is a 6-foot-1, 198-pound wide receiver who ranks No. 5 on the Next 25. The Longhorns are one of 25 programs to offer Whittington, who was named District 15-4A MVP and earned all-state honors as a return specialist.

Whittington scored a touchdown in five different ways as a sophomore. He caught 12 receiving touchdowns, scored four on the ground and returned two interceptions, two punts and one kickoff for scores. Whittington accounted for more than 1,000 yards and had six interceptions.
