Texas commit Ayodele Adeoye moves to IMG Academy

Posted July 15th, 2017

A Texas commit is on the move. Four-star linebacker prospect Ayodele Adeoye announced Saturday on Twitter he’ll attend IMG Academy for his senior season. The 6-foot, 231-pound middle linebacker is from Saint Louis, Mo., ranking as the No. 100 ranked player in the nation and the No. 4 middle linebacker prospect in the country, per 247Sports.

Adeoye committed to Texas in June, joining Fort Worth Eastern Hills outside linebacker Byron Hobbs as the two linebacker commits of the 2018 class. Texas holds 11 commitments in the 2018 class, ranking No. 7 nationally and No. 1 in the Big 12, per 247Sports’ team recruiting rankings. Five of those commitments play defense.
