These are the 5 best OU softball performances we saw in sweep of No. 22 Baylor

The No. 1-ranked OU softball team swept its three-game series against No. 22 Baylor this past week.

The Sooners (31-1, 9-0 Big 12) got the ball rolling with an 8-1 on Friday at Hall of Fame Stadium. They then won the doubleheader at Love's Field on Saturday by scores of 12-3 (five innings) and 7-4.

5. Kierston Deal, pitcher

Deal made one appearance for the Sooners.

The sophomore only allowed one earned run in four innings pitched during OU's 7-4 win over Baylor on Saturday. Deal got the win, which improved her record to 7-0 this season.

4. Jayda Coleman, outfielder

Coleman recorded two RBIs, five runs scored and one home run on 3-for-7 hitting during the series sweep.

The senior helped OU strike first in its 12-3 win over Baylor on Saturday. Coleman hit her fifth homer of the season, which was a two-run shot, in the bottom of the second inning.

3. Ella Parker, utility

Parker's shining moment came during OU's 12-3 win over Baylor on Saturday.

The freshman hit a walk-off grand slam that gave the Sooners a run-rule victory in the bottom of the fifth inning. Parker finished the series with six RBIs, three runs scored and one homer on 4-for-10 hitting.

2. Tiare Jennings, infielder

Jennings was a consistent source of offense once again for the Sooners.

The senior tallied four RBIs, three runs scored and two home runs on 6-for-10 hitting. Jennings has hit 12 homers this season, which is tied with teammate Alyssa Brito and Texas' Reese Atwood for first in the Big 12.

1. Alynah Torres, utility

Torres capitalized on her opportunities at the plate.

The senior racked up six RBIs, two runs scored and two home runs on 3-for-5 hitting. Despite ranking eighth on the team in at-bats this season (60), Torres boasts 20 RBIs and six home runs with a .417 batting average.
